CREATIVE MARKETING INTERN
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Refined Sisterhood is looking for an enthusiastic creative marketing intern to support creative ideas, enhance brand awareness, and help achieve our goals. You will have administrative duties in developing and implementing marketing strategies. Your insightful contribution will help develop, expand and maintain our marketing channels. This internship will help you acquire marketing skills and provide you with knowledge of various marketing strategies. Ultimately, you will gain broad experience in marketing and should be prepared to enter any fast paced work environment.

High school or equivalent (Required)
Must have a relationship with the Lord and share your story/testimony with us (Required)
Feels empowered to take on responsibility as part of the team - doesn’t wait to be told what to do
Strong work ethic, takes initiative and makes suggestions
Loves all things social media and has a knack for interacting with people on different platforms: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
Has an interest in and is willing to learn content marketing including blogging Canva graphics creation, and SEO.
Low-maintenance, KIND, easy to work with, trustworthy
HIGHLY reliable and honest
Does not need to be micromanaged and completes tasks in a timely manner
Believes in open and honest communication for the greater good of all
FUN! Must be a person with an outgoing and fun personality
Must have an entrepreneurial spirit and be willing to give constructive feedback
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
The ability to learn new tools quickly
Experience coordinating with and sharing results with Business Owners
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work to implement an Instagram strategy on a monthly basis - create content calendar, schedule posts using scheduling software, write captions, and generate hashtags
Create TikTok Social Media Strategy to enhance brand awareness
Writing blog posts, social media, promotional content, emails, etc.
Perform SEO and keyword research in to increase website traffic
Craft blog post, publish and optimize for Squarespace
Track all metrics once per week in a tracking document using Google Sheets
Email communications, designing social media promotional graphics in Canva, spreadsheet entry, speaker support inquiries.
Following the podcast, re-purpose the content for promotion on all channels (Facebook, Instagram, Website, Youtube, etc.)
General copywriting/messaging/positioning (the faster you pick up the brand voice the better!)
Managing customer support inquiries through social media messaging and email (only as it relates to the work you do - not for all areas of the company).
General research online
Start Date: Immediately
Note: Role is an intern, not an employee. Intern will typically work 5-10 hours/week. This position is unpaid with the potential of future hire.
